LeighAnn Aloia is a board-certified nurse practitioner (CRNP) with a specialty in family care. She did extensive training in dermatology and has been providing a wide range of dermatological services to patients since 2008.

LeighAnn graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2000. She is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing. She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama but has practiced as a nurse practitioner in both Georgia and Alabama.

She currently resides in Shelby County with her husband and three sons. They all enjoy outdoor activities and love spending their spare time at the lake. Her oldest son attends the University of Alabama and her twin sons are at Oak Mountain High School.

Joining the Myers Institute allows LeighAnn the opportunity to continue practicing general dermatology with a primary focus of detecting and treating skin cancer. She looks forward to caring for you, your friends, and family.
